We got a new puppy!!!!!!!!! I am just a little excited...can you tell? Her name is Derbyshire and we call her Derby (pronounced Darby) She is named after a county in England. I thought it befitting since she is an English springer spaniel. It also is the county that the fabled Mr. Darcy of Pride and Prejudice grew up. Which happens to be my favorite book. She is a great dog, three months old, gentle, quick learner, great with the kids. Now if she could just get the hang of potty training we're set! ;)

I'm so happy you guys finally are able to get the pets that you have wanted for so long. I remember in Ogden you wished you could have gotten pets (other than a rabbit). Darby is a beautiful looking puppy! I am sure that your family enjoys her a lot!
OH! I'm sooooo jealous! You are so brave to take on a baby AND a puppy! She's a BEAUTIFUL dog! I guess you needed a girl in the house!
